EXORCISMO (EXORCISM) - 1975 Dir. Juan Bosch

The story in this horror movie involves a young woman's unknowing participation in a satanic ceremony which causes her to be possessed by the spirit of her dead father. She promptly begins exhibiting the standard symptoms - curses, vomiting, and even twisting the heads of a few people 180 degrees. Paul Naschy plays the village priest summoned to perform the rites of exorcism, and must fend off the possessed's lewd advances before casting the evil spirit out of her body.

EL CARNAVAL DE LAS BESTIAS (THE BEASTS' CARNIVAL / HUMAN BEASTS) - 1980 Dir. Paul Naschy

Paul Naschy plays a mercenary who double-crosses his partner/girlfriend Meiko and gets shot for his troubles. Falling unconscious, he is taken in by a wealthy doctor, Don Simon, who has two beautiful daughters, Alicia and Monica. His recuperation is slow, and in the meantime he is seduced by both daughters and apparently haunted by the ghost of their mother.

Then there's a veterinarian who gets bludgeoned by an unseen stalker and eaten alive by pigs. It turns out that Naschy is being fattened up for slaughter by the family, whose members learned cannibalism from their servant Rachel's dad while living in Africa. The ghost turns out not to be a ghost at all, but Don Simon's third daughter, who went mad and would not join the family in their new tastes…

EL JOROBADO DE LA MORGUE (THE HUNCHBACK OF THE RUE MORGUE) - 1973 Dir. Javier Aguirre

This film from Basque director Javier Aguirre stars Paul Naschy as a hunchbacked Swiss morgue attendant named Gotho. He's in love with a woman who dies of tuberculosis, causing Gotho to grab an axe and chop up some medical students who want to dissect her then hide her body in a dank crypt.

Eventually, Gotho strikes a bargain with mad scientist Alberto Dalbes, who agrees to raise the hunchback's beloved from the dead in exchange for fresh corpses from the morgue to feed his monstrous blob-like creation. Rossana Yanni appears as an imprisoned psychiatrist, and the film co-stars Maria Perschy and Vic Winner.
