This collection presents five classic spaghetti westerns: A BULLET FOR THE GENERAL, COMPANEROS, FOUR OF THE APOCALYPSE, KEOMA, and TEXAS ADIOS.
BULLET FOR A GENERALAt the height of the Mexican Revolution, a mysterious young American (Lou Castel of Fist In His Pocket) joins a gang of marauders led by El Chucho (Gian Maria Volonte of A Fistful Of Dollars) on a series of savage raids to steal guns foria powerful rebel general. But when the Gringo brings his own cold-blooded ideals to the bandits, El Chucho discovers that the real weapons of war belong to no army. In a land ravaged by poverty and violence, can true freedom be bought with a single bullet?
Klaus Kinski (For A Few Dollars More) and Martine Beswick (Dr. Jekyll And Sister Hyde, Thunderball) co-star in this legendary western directed by Damiano Damiani from a powerful screenplay co-written by OscarŪ-nominee Franco Solinas (The Battle Of Algiers, The Big Gundown). Also known as Quien Sabe, this thrilling epic features some of the most surprising performances, radical politics and shocking violence of any "Spaghetti Western" ever made.

COMPANEROS
Actor Franco Nero and director Sergio Corbucci (DJANGO) team up once again for this excellent spaghetti western. Violent and highly stylized, the film stars Nero as a Swedish mercenary and Tomas Milian as a revolutionary who attempt liberate an imprisoned professor (Rey) who holds the code to a safe containing a small fortune. However, one of Nero's old partners, John (Palance), a psychotic mercenary who has a wooden hand and the disturbing habit of feeding his pet hawk human flesh, throws a wrench into Nero's plans when he turns up with a few ideas of his own about what to do with the money. Featuring a score by Ennio Morricone, an outstanding cast, and a wicked sense of humor, COMPAŅEROS stands out as a forgotten classic of the genre.

FOUR OF THE APOCALYPSE
One of director Lucio Fulci's best spaghetti westerns, THE FOUR OF THE APOCALYPSE was, like many of his films, extremely violent and therefore very controversial. Banned around the world, the film has long been available in only a heavily edited form, but, thanks to Anchor Bay, the film has been restored to its original glory. Fabio Testi stars as Stubby Preston, a suave gambler who, along with three other strangers, escape a small town prison and head out through the desert to freedom. However, when they come across a bandit named Chaco, a sadistic and torturous game begins as they try to survive the arid desert and each other.

KEOMA
Franco Nero (DJANGO) stars as the title character in this unjustly forgotten spaghetti western from Italian auteur Enzo G. Castellari. Keoma, a half white, half Indian gunfighter, returns to his hometown only to find it overrun by a plague affecting much of the town. Unfortunately, the man running the town, Caldwell, will not let anyone out or any medical supplies in. After saving a beautiful woman (Karlatos) thought to be afflicted, Keoma sets about eradicating Caldwell and his men from his town. Stylish and brutal, director Castellari combines the conventions of the spaghetti western with the slow motion shootouts of Peckinpah, resulting in a wholly unique and entertaining movie.

TEXAS ADIOS
Franco Nero (DJANGO) stars in this spaghetti western as Burt Sullivan, a Texas sheriff haunted by the memory of Cisco, the man who killed his father when he was a child. Hearing that Cisco is living in Mexico, Burt rounds up his little brother to accompany him through Mexico as he searches for Cisco in order to exact his revenge. However, Cisco has turned himself into the despot of a small rural town, controlling its citizens with fear and the small army he has accumulated over the years. Violent, operatic, and wickedly funny, TEXAS, ADDIO turns the familiar revenge plot of so many westerns into something completely alien, a grandly scaled riff on the genre that is hugely entertaining.
