Supervised by Lucio Fulci & directed by Mario Bianchi THE MURDER SECRET begins when Richard's aunt, recently released from a long stay in a mental institution, invites him and his family to visit her in her country home. Upon arrival, the family are greeted by the caretaker who informs them that Aunt Martha has been unavoidably delayed and will arrive the next day.

The caretaker warns the family not to open a door in the basement and then leaves them to settle down for the night. All seems well until one by one the family is butchered in extremely gory fashion by an unknown assailant. Stars Gabriele Tinti, Maurice Poli & Adriana Russo.
