The LUCHADORES ENMASCARADOS series resurrects the cinematic genre of lucha libre, a form of Mexican wrestling marked by the use of masks, tag teams, and high-flying acrobatics. Starting out in the 1950s as typical gangster crime dramas, 1960s and '70s lucha libre employed increasingly outlandish storylines involving supernatural foes such as vampires, Martians, mummies, and zombies.

This collection includes two films from the golden age of 1970s lucha libre that unites some of the genre's biggest stars. In MISTERIO EN LAS BERMUDAS (1977), Santo, Blue Demon, and Mil Mascaras battle the occult while guarding a princess in the Bermudas. EL CASTILLO DE LAS MOMIAS DE GUANAJUATO (1977) pits Superzan, Tinieblas, and Blue Angel against mummies and satanic cults.
