The LONE WOLF AND CUB series chronicles the adventures of disgraced Shogun assassin Ogami Itto and his infant son Daigoro, who sell their services to people in need while traveling the countryside in search of revenge against the hit squad who killed Itto's wife. Sword Of Vengeance
After his wife is murdered and his house destroyed by the vile Yagyu clan, former Shogunate executioner Ogami Itto is left with nothing but his infant son and a crude baby cart. He wanders the land, a sword for hire, with the minions of the Yagyu forever on his trail.
Baby Cart At The River Styx
Pursued by the female Akashi-Yagyu ninja, Ogami Itto is hired to protect the valuable secret of the Awa clan. His assignment, however, puts him on a collision course with the sinister Shogunate against known as "The Gods of Death!"
Baby Cart To Hades
While protecting the life of a woman who killed her violent pimp, Ogami Itto runs afoul of the Kakegawa clan. Recognizing Itto and Daigoro as the combination known as "Lone Wolf and Cub," the Chamberlain of the Kakegawa hires Itto to assassinate the man responsible for the disgrace of their clan.
Baby Cart In Peril
After an explosive confrontation with Yagyu Gunbei, master swordsman of the Yagyu clan and one-time aspirant to the position of official Shogunate executioner, Ogami and Daigoro pursue the tattooed mistress of the martial arts, Oyuki. However, Itto quickly comes to recognize the purpose behind her actions, and his response will once again subject him to the wrath of the Yagyu!
Baby Cart In The Land Of Dreams
Confronting five skilled retainers of the Kuroda clan, Itto accepts their request for the death of the high priest Jikei, a spy for Yagyu Retsudo. Upon completion of his assignment, however, he finds that there is one more task before him - to protect the clan's secret. Therefore, Lord Kuroda and his family must die!
White Heaven In Hell
Under pressure from the impatient Shogunate, Yagyui Retsudo is forced to dispatch his two remaining children, Kaori, mistress of the blade, and Hyoei, mystic of the Tsuchigumo clan - after the head of Ogami Itto. Recognizing Retsudo's uncomfortable position, Itto knows that it is only a matter of time until he is pursued by the last of the Yagyu - Retsudo himself!
