EIN HALLELUJA FuR DJANGO (1967)
(LA PIU GRANDE RAPINA NEL WEST / THE GREATEST ROBBERY IN THE WEST / HALLELUJA FOR DJANGO)
A band of crooks steal a fortune in gold from the bank and hide it in the handy-dandy statue of a local saint. One of the group, Santo (Jack Betts), then takes it to an isolated small-town where they can meet up later and divide the loot. Inevitably enough, just about all of these desperados are determined to double cross each other. Matters aren't helped by the fact that their leader Jarrett (Walter Barnes) is a ruthless butcher. As soon as he arrives he manages to lay siege to the town and shoot the Sheriff, thus raising the ire of Billy Rum (George Hilton), the dead mans brother. Billy Rum, however, is a drunken brawler who happens to be locked up in the local jail at the time, so nobody pays much attention to him…
Directed by Maurizio Lucidi and also start Erika Blanc, Mario Brega and Jeff Cameron.

THE FIGHTING FISTS OF SHANGHAI JOE (1972)
(IL MIO NAME E SHANGHAI JOE / KNOCHENBRECHER IM WILDEN WESTEN / MY NAME IS SHANGHAI JOE)
Shanghai Joe (Chen Lee) travels to San Francisco in 1882 looking for a better life, all he finds is scum -- racists, perverts, slavers, greedy conmen and mercenaries. Naturally, the gentle mystic must fight to find inner peace. Lee's major weapon - aside from knives and lethal yo-yos - is a devastating punch that rams all the way through his opponents' bodies. But that isn't the half of it. A card shark gets his eyes gouged out in revolting detail, people are beaten to bloody pulp, and the villain of the piece (Klaus Kinski in a fascinating performance) is Scalper Jack, a mincing, sadistic bounty-hunter who tortures and skins his victims alive. Also stars Gordon Mitchell, Giacomo Rossi-Stuart & Roberto Undari.

Almost everyone in the tiny town of Indian Creek seems eager to buy up the property left behind by the murdered victims and one of them could well be behind the killings. DJANGO, KILL…IF YOU LIVE SHOOT! (1967)
(SE SEI VIVO SPARA / DJANGO - LECK STAUB VON MEINEM COLT)
Tomas Milian stars as a half-breed bandit double-crossed and left for dead who rises from the grave to seek his revenge in a bizarre town called "The Unhappy Place", where he's plunged into an odyssey of gruesome torture, graphic violence and sexual depravity.
Considered the strangest and most controversial Spaghetti Western ever made, this film from director Giulio Questi (Death Laid an Egg) and co-writer/editor Franco Arcalli (co-writer of "Once Upon a Time in America" and "Last Tango in Paris") shocked the world with its hallucinatory tale of greed, corruption, perversion and beyond.
