Made early in the Spaghetti Western cycle, THE MAN FROM NOWHERE (widely known in Europe as ARIZONA COLT) is one of the films that sparked enduring interest in Westerns produced for the world market. It stars Giuliano Gemma, the first and certainly one of the best, Italian actors to headline the genre.

In the film gunfighter Arizona Colt (Gemma) languishes in a border jail after committing an unnamed crime. Gordo (Fernando Sancho) and his gang of bandits swoop down and free everyone in order to draft new members for this gang. Arizona refuses to join and instead goes to the town of Blackstone, which Gordo intends to rob. There he becomes attracted to Jane (Corrine Marchand) and when an advance scout for Gordo kills her sister Dolores (Rosalba Neri), she promised to become Arizona's playtoy if he hunts down and brings back the corpse of the killer…Directed by Michele Lupo.
