This DVD includes the "Director's Cut" (Longer Italian version) and the 100 min "Export Version". The majority of scenes cut from the "Export Version" are dialogue scenes between David Hemmings and Dario Nicolodi which develop their relationship. All of the violence and bloodshed are left intact. The "Director's Cut" though is not uncut as the BBFC cut the "lizard" scene due to animal cruelty issues, but for some reason is left intact on the "Export Version".

The picture quality of the "Export Version" is definitely an improvement over the Spanish DVD release of this version plus it also includes the ending credits as the original "moving" sequence and not the freeze-frame sequence as seen on the AB DVD.
