Paul Kersey is an architect living in New York City. One day while he was gone, hoodlums break into his apartment, killing his wife Joanna and gang raping his daughter, leaving her comatose. When the police cannot bring the criminals to justice, Kersey arms himself and begins a vigilante war on the streets, killing any muggers or thieves he encounters.

Taking place 8 years after DEATH WISH...same old story -- this time it's the urban jungle of LA. Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) was able to put his life back together. That was until gangs members (including a young Larry Fishburne) rape and kill his mentally ill daughter. This brings the aging assassin out of retirement determined to seek revenge. Filled with a amazing rock score by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page this sequel is just as exciting as the original.

At long last Death Wish II is available on DVD with the infamous rape sequence in all it's uncut glory without the optical fogging that was present on other versions. Some dialogue is missing from DEATH WISH II that is only present in a Greek videotape. Recommend for Bronson fans like myself!
