Mario (Ugo Tognazzi), a middle-aged businessman, is about to fly to New York on a business trip when his plane is delayed by fog. He returns home and finds Francesca (Edwige Fenech), his attractive young wife, asleep. Mario determines to use his enforced leisure time to go hunting. However, as he is collecting his guns he notices a pair of naked male feet in the closet. Mario immediately suspects that Francesca is having an affair with a younger man. His suspicions lead to increasingly erratic behavior and a tendency to have morbid fantasies about his wife's supposed extra-marital activities.

A very dark Italian sex-comedy directed by Ugo Tognazzi with plenty of screen time for Ms. Fenech.
