We just received a small amount of this limited edition release from EC Entertainment. This is the ultrabit release which is limited to 4000 numbered pieces. This version of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST includes the full uncut version of "The Last Road to Hell" sequence which is NOT included on the US release from Grindhouse (although the full version of the sequence is included as an extra on the Grindhouse release).

This Ruggeo Deodato classic is a marvelous movie that includes some of the most shocking footage ever filmed and also includes an amazing score by Riz Ortolani. A group of 4 documentary film makers head into the jungle, but don’t make it out alive. During their adventure we discover who the real primitives are.

This new release from EC includes an all-new completely remastered transfer from original 35mm negatives and is a 2-disc PAL edition.

To optimize the digital picture quality, the highest possible bit rate has been used to author the film for DVD which requires a large amount of disc space. For this reason the extra features have been placed on a separate disc. Presented in a Special limited 2-disc edition of only 4000 numbered copies with slipcase.

In addition to the stunning picture quality: this is the longest edition of the film ever released on DVD or Laserdisc..
