Vampirism as a sexual obsession enslaves Oxford scholar Richard Fountain (Patrick Mower) when he visits Greece and falls in with a drug-crazed cult of homicidal swingers led by a kinky blood-drinker named Chriseis. His fiancée and three friends (including The Avengers' Patrick Macnee) try to rescue Richard from her malignant spell but when they bring him back to England, he's… different. And when the provost of the college (Peter Cushing) throws him a welcome-back dinner, Richard becomes positively violent… A.k.a Incense for the Damned and digitally remastered from 35 mm elements (bearing the never used pre-release title Freedom Seeker), Blood suckers is an unusual mix of action, horror, and old-fashioned neck biting.
Plus: Filipino women found with their blood drained bring American sex-crime expert Adam Rourke to Manila in search of the killer. Armed with a lisp and a mannequin named Harvey, Rourke soon becomes prey to a "Golden Goddess" possessed by Blood Thirst, and creature whose face looks like melted flesh… Two offbeat thrillers worth sinking your teeth into!

CARNIVAL OF BLOOD & CURSE OF THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN
A lunatic on the loose turns Coney Island into a Carnival of Blood as he rids the world of hilariously annoying women via gory murders in the splatter style of Herschell Gordon Lewis. Investigating the bloodshed are Dan, a gun- ho district- attorney- in- training, and his reluctant fiancee, Laura. But- oops!- Laura turns out to be just as annoying as the victims and by the time Dan discovers a teddy bear filled with human entrails (!), Laura is riding the Wonder Wheel with the psycho killer who not only has a false face, but a weird mommy complex: "I have to kill you, Mommy, I have to…" A strange little sickie, Carnival of Blood also stars Burt Young (you know, Paulie in the Rocky movies) as a hunchback named Gimpy.
Plus: When med student Mark Callahan inherits his uncle's Wild West tourist attraction, he also inherits the Curse of the Headless Horseman. Though the creepy caretaker warns him that the place is haunted, Mark and his semi- hippie friends nevertheless move into the place and, sure enough, the cranium- missing cowboy appears, terrifying the hippies by splashing blood on them from a severed head he carries. Really. With a decidedly trippy feel to it- indeed, the best scene has the horseman stalking a gal on acid- Curse of the Headless Horseman also boasts a cameo by Warhol superstar Ultra Violet who wanders around carrying a Superman lunch box.

BLOODY PIT OF HORROR
Seeking a gothic background for a horror photo shoot, five sexy cover girls and a handful of photographers break into what they assume is an uninhabited castle and are soon taking a series of macabre stills in its dungeon. But -- surprise! -- residing in the castle is demented actor Travis Anderson (Mickey Hargitay) who thinks he's the reincarnation of a The Crimson Executioner, a 17th century madman whose body is entombed in the castle's iron maiden. And when Travis recognizes one of the models as his former fiancée, his already unhinged mind completely snaps.
Dressed in a bright red executioner's costume, Travis promptly goes nuts and gleefully subjects the trespassers to a variety of bizarre and elaborately conceived tortures: "The Crimson Executioner cries out for blood!" With its cheerful sadism, an abundance of near-nudity, and a wonderfully over-the-top performance by Mr. Hargitay, Bloody Pit Of Horror is one of the most beloved kitsch classicks from the golden age of Italian Horror. Plus...it's in "Psychovision"!
