Digitmovies explores one more time the Spaghetti Western, releasing for the first time in full stereo the complete score of 'Blindman', composed and conducted by Stelvio Cipriani and officially licensed by ABKCO Pictures (the american company that produced the movie in 1971 and that owns the music rights).

Until today, from this score no one single note has been issued either on 45 rpm singles or compilation albums since the theatrical release: so this is really a world premiere CD recording of a great orchestral score that deserved a CD presentation.

Directly edited and remastered from Cipriani's stereo mastertapes (Cipriani himself helped on this CD project very friendly authorizing every take selected and edited for this release).

Directed by Ferdinando Baldi and starring Tony Anthony as Blindman aka El Giego and ex-Beatle Ringo Starr as the psychotic bad guy. This movie is clearly an Italia-american Spaghetti western homage to the classic Japanese hero Zatoichi, the blind swordman (famous for many Tv series and movies made in Japan including a recent remake starring Takeshi Kitano).

Stelvio Cipriani's score is richly orchestral and percussive, with a Pop vein, featuring the powerful 'Blindman theme' performed by female voice of Nora Orlandi, screaming with an ethnic tone accompanied by solos of sitar, electric guitars and drums as first presented in 'Main titles' .M°Cipriani has also written a joyful mexican folk tune called ""Blindman's Mariachi"" and has created atmospheric themes alternate with exciting action music for orchestra and choir.
